I earned my PhD from NYU School of Medicine Vilcek Institute in Molecular Biophysics. During my academic career, I authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, wrote successful grant proposals, and presented posters and presentations at national and international conferences.
In addition, I have several years of experience in medical communications where I write content for promotional and educational purposes in a range of therapeutic areas.
My interest in writing and editing developed gradually, bolstered by the scientific writing I did for academic work and lay writing. Inadvertently, I started reading and editing other’s work, and immensely enjoyed helping communicate science in a clear and compelling manner. Thus far, I have worked with over a dozen scientists to help edit manuscripts or grant proposals and have experience working with those for whom English is a second language. I have also worked on a range of topics in basic and translational science as well as more clinically focused research.
As a medical editor, I strive to elevate your work to make the biggest impact for your audience. I focus not only on the grammar and syntax but also on improving the flow, removing inconsistencies, smoothing transitions, and maintaining a well-structured, easy-to-read text. I look forward to working together to tell your research story.
